The Construction Crew, also known as the "Construction Coup" and "Reconstruction Crew", were a group of four individuals dedicated to improving the server and undoing the damage caused by the Willemstan 1.1 Reforms. Everyone in the crew was appointed by Eli Payton, the Dictator of Willemstan at the time. It is also worth noting that all of these people were Admin V2s as well, so they already had a lot of power. The group was created on June 17th of 2020 in the wake of the Willemstan Coup, and were in charge of establishing the Willemstan 1.2 Reforms and a new governing document. By the end of June 2020, their purpose had been long fulfilled, and the Construction Crew was disbanded. However, all members of the Construction Crew kept their role purely for vintage purposes until November 11th of 2021, when it was deleted.

(Re)construction of Willemstan

After the coup was complete, Eli wanted to restore Willemstan back to a more traditional government. However, he wanted more imput in order to insure his new reforms would appease the Willemstani public. As a result, he began appointing new Admin V2s and promoting them to the Construction Crew. Malcolm and Joey were obvious choices, as they had served as administrators before under Eli's previous dictatorship. Ian was also added to the team after sending several reform suggestions to Eli.

The Reconstruction Crew spent two days reforming the server. On the first day, they were gathered in a voice call in which they discussed what to change, keep, and reform. They agreed that almost all of the reforms would be undone, especially the state election system. The only thing that was really kept from the Willemstan 1.1 Reforms was the text channels, which were supplemented by a bunch of new text channels. During the second day, the crew made the decision to throw out the Willemstan Amendments, and rather than return the Willemstan Commandments to power, a new document was created. The New Articles of Willemstan was established, this new document is meant to remain true to the principals from the Commandments, but without the obsolete legislation and more election rules.
