Background

Josue Mejia is a former Dictator of Willemstan and an Original Member of Willemstan. He was present during the Silly School for Cosmic Children video back in January of 2017, and went on to found the Silly School for Cosmic Children Google Classroom. He did not join the Willemstan Discord Server for over 2 years. Josue is well known for his role as the first Dictator of Willemstan, and for founding & directing the classroom until it was abandoned. However, Josue began to lose interest in Willemstan during the 2018 summer break and eventually left altogether, although he returned to Willemstan on February 1st of 2021.

• Josue created a Discord account in February 2021 in order to join the Willemstan Discord Server for the first time. His username is currently "Oche".

Dictatorship

Josue served as the first Dictator of Willemstan. He was in power from the Summer 2018 Election until the Willemstan - Wolfenstan War, when his rule came to an abrupt end. After Willemstan moved to Discord, Eli and Joey were left running things because Josue Mejia never joined the Willemstan Discord Server. Despite this, he is decently received in the eyes of the citizens today.

Political Record

Josue was a candidate for the Summer 2018 Election, the first Willemstan election, in which he won by a landslide.

Josue was also a candidate for the Summer 2021 Election, in which he won 10.3% of the vote.

Voting Record

Josue had not voted in any election until the Summer 2021 Election, in which he voted for Ian, Andrew M, and Devin A.

Willemstan - Wolfenstan War

Josue Mejia participated in the Willemstan - Wolfenstan War as a spy, but ultimately left Willemstan during the event.

Move to Discord

Josue was against the Move to Discord because he had begun to lose interest in Willemstan, even before the move began.

Departure from Willemstan

Josue had gradually lost interest in Willemstan during 2018, and lost it all-together in the summer of 2018. He did not join the Willemstan Discord Server for years, and the Willemstan - Wolfenstan war effectively served as a dramatic exit. His Google Classroom account is currently in Charlie's possession. Charlie has made many posts on using his account over the years, even when Josue was still a part of Willemstan. As such, the account still receives some use today.

Return to Willemstan

Josue returned to Willemstan on February 1st of 2021 after being prompted by Ian. While inactive at first, he ran for Dictator during the Summer 2021 Election, and became more active in the server during that time. Following the election, he once again returned to an inactive state.
