This was a segment of a video lesson Mr. Herek had recorded for asynchronous time for his Algebra II class. He used text to speech in order to emulate class discussion in the video. This was taken from the same video as the previous COVID Sadness clip.
Analysis
Ian Hampton named this clip "COVID Sadness" because it was depressing how a teacher was mimicking class discussion through text to speech 10 months into COVID. Many Willemstan citizens made the same conclusion, viewing the clip as funny and sad at the same time.
As a result of this video, "I am ready Mr. Herek!" became a catch phrase/meme in Willemstan, often recited just before an exam in Mr. Herek's class.
